    It depends on the circumstances. For concealed carry I prefer my HK p2000 in 9mm. It workes for me. My daughter likes her Ruger SP. OTOH, in an outdoor situation the "best" handgun for me is the Ruger Vaquero in 45LC. Because I cannot afford the Freedom Arms in the same caliber. I suspect everyone will have a correct opinion on this subject...
