I'll check my book for you in the morning. Too late and cold to go to my shop now!![]()
Greetings,
My Dad just gave me his old service revolver and I'm trying to determine it's DOB which I think is the early 80's. Serial number is 4D62xxx. Would anyone here happen to have a S&W serial number reference that they wouldn't mind checking?
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Richard

I finally made it out of the house. It looks like 1979 was the year it was made. A lot of 10's were made in 79.
