    However, if you are having problems polishing the feedramp can fix them. I have a Sig Mosquito that would only run on CCI Minimag for about the first 500 rounds. Then it was fine with Federal Bulk pack and Federal target grade. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't run well on anything. I experienced various failures several times on every mag. Then I took a Dremel with a buffing pad and polished the feedramp, the rails, and the inside of the slide, and now it runs great on anything including golden bullet. YMMV...

    More pistols get due to amateur feed ramp polishing, don't do it.

    If your gun runs fine until the end of the mag, it could be that you have a weak magazine spring. If it is nose-diving and double feeding at the beginning, try loading your magazine one round less than maximum.

    I had some feed issues with a brand new Colt Commander. A quick rub with crocus cloth fixed everything.

    That pistol has never once choked on a round to this day!
