    Default Trigger pull!

Whats the right way to put your finger on the trigger as to not make the gun go left or right with the Index Finger? Do you use the pad of the finger? I need to work on that but wanna get it right!!

That's a somewhat subjective question. I teach folks to use the pad of the trigger finger, just opposite the cuticle. That position is usually good IF the gun fits the shooters hand. As is the case with many physical aspects of shooting, stance, and grip for example, many things can be tweaked for personal preference, and/or comfort.

In Competition I always used the middle of my last joint and practiced pulling directly rearward. In real world situations I go to my second joint for enough power to pull double action if needed and a better combat grip.

Do you put that 1 joint on the trigger and just pull straight back with it?

From a rest, try different finger placements with the same point of aim, and see where your groups end up..... that'll tell you what you want to know.
