    Default Handgun license question...

I had an arrest for misdemeanor assault and battery about 14 years ago and I also had a possession of marijuana and illegal consumption of alcohol about 10 years ago. I didn't serve any jail time just probation and community service. Will this stop me from getting a handgun license? I live in Indiana and want to get an unlimited carry, lifetime gun license.

You more than likley will not get many replys on this. But when u do i will be pretty much a simple answer. You need to look up the indiana law, and maybe talk to a attorney. Go to the state police web site and look up the qualificatoins. They are somewhat clear on this.

Call the Attorney General in your State and ask them.

Six posts by RSJ, and five of them are exactly the same in five different sections. WTF RSJ? Read your own state's laws instead of spamming us with the same damn question over and over again!

Maybe he is proud of his crime and wants us all to know.

As long as you don't have a felony or a conviction for domestic battery you are fine.

I agree though, look it up online. Indiana's website for CCW has all of this information easily available.

    Default sorry guys I'm new!

I'm sorry guys this was my first post and I put it on 5 or 6 different forums the admin sent me a message telling me not to post on multiple threads. I really didn't know what I was doing and it won't happen again. And I'm not proud of my crimes, I was barely over 18 and my parents were going through a tough divorce when all that stuff happened I was just being honest and trying to get the question out to as many people as possible. Sorry for an inconvenience.
