Default Illegal for Illinois residents

I was at an Indiana DNR facility a couple days ago and seen a sign posted that it is not illegal for Illinois residents to bring a handgun into Indiana for hunting or target practice.

I have tried to find more info on this, but I have been unable to. Does anyone know more about this?

Thanks

Not sure. However, if you have a permit from any sate, whether resident or nonresident, you can carry here and go to a shooting range. Hope this helps.
