Default Welcome, tell us about your Kahr/Kahr's

Welcome to the Kahr Owners Group forum. I have two Kahr's, a PM9 that's my everyday carry firearm and an E9. Both feel great and are extremely reliable and accurate. I'd carry my E9 but it's a little heavy since it's an all steel firearm. I carry mine in my Kydex IWB tuckable holster that I made. It works great with anything I wear including shorts. I'm looking for a 45 and a 40 cal Kahr and maybe one of the new KP3833 380 pocket pistol. I'd hate to give up carrying my Kel-Tec P3AT though.

I bought a CW9 when shopping for a gun for the wife. We both enjoy it, and I've been fighting the temptation flowing from the P45 and P40 at the local gun shop....

WooHoo!!! I went by the gun store today and found NO Kahrs in the display cases. But then, the store owner asked me what he should order in his restocking effort. Of course, I told him to get a few Kahrs.

Started with my K40, on advice from my brother and haven't looked back. Absolutely 100% reliable no matter I feed it. I did end up buying a P9 in order to drop some wieght for every day carry. I prefer the 40 cal for power but with shorts / tee shirt, it can be a tad heavy. I LOVE MY KAHRS!!!

Default TP45 novak sights

Have had my Kahr for almost a year and wouldn't carry anything else, except maybe my 1911. I have a TP45 and couldn't dream of a better CC sidearm, 19 oz, 6+1 rounds (cut grip down from 7 to 6 rnd) of .45 and almost half the weight of my 1911. The most accurate .45 its size I ever seen. I will be looking into a PM45 for a second or backup. The recoil is almost unnoticeable, well a lot less than most +p9mm and .40 I've ever shot. Bet your life reliability? absolutely, not a single malfunction even during brake-in.

Should be getting my PM9 in about a week. Seemed like the perfect everyday gun for me. Then I went to another carry site and heard a lot of bad things about them. Especially the polymer models. Hope I did the right thing? Come on guys, tell me some good stuff. Thanks,
Jeff

Thumbs up Mad Marty & his P45

Bought a P45 just a few weeks back... Would gladly put a picture here but haven't figured that out yet. Not even broke in yet. About 150 rounds thru it at present.
This gun handles really nice. I thought it was going to be a real beast at only 19 oz.... Handles the 230gr +P hollowpoints like butter... It made me put my Taurus PT111 9mm in the safe... Rather have 7 rounds of 45 than 12 rounds of 9mm for stopping bad guys....
