Questions about my Michigan carry permit

Hello Kenucky,
I am a Michigan resident on a contract job in Kentucky for the next 6 months. I have a carry permit from my home state that Kentucky honors. I have studied the Kentucky CCDW regulations and they seem similar to those in Michigan.

I plan on carrying on a daily basis. Any tips from you that I should be aware of would be appreciated.

mainly just follow the laws and you will be ok. we are a must informstate so if you have any run ins with leo then you must inform them you have a permit and present it to them if you sre carrying. no guns in all the usual places that includes bars and bar areas of restuarnts. other than that enjoy. depending on what part of the state you are in most folks are ok with it. open carry is legal but i prefer concealed. think that is about it. enjoy your stay in the bluegrass state.

Thanks for the thoughts. I have to tell you that I am really enjoying my stay in your state. Friendly people, beautiful country, nice weather. Hats off to Kentucky a really nice place to live.

As for the carry permit. It is a way of life for me and has been for some years. I am not paranoid, I just like to be prepared for what could happen. I hope your state government continues to protect your second amendment rights.
