Tin foil hats actually work the opposite of what you think....
Law enforcement is getting aggressive about citizen videos, particularly because they find them so damning when posted on youtube.

LEO's are public employees in the public domain and have no reasonable expectation of privacy while on duty or performing thier duties. So when they order you to stop filming or arrest you they have violated your civil rights. USC Title 18 Capter 13 241 & 242. Use USC Title 42 Chapter 21 1983 to sue in civil court.
If we the people start demanding our rights they will not be so inclined to abuse them. USC Tile 18 is the criminal code for the Republic of the United States of America. Article 6 of the Consititution is the Supremacy clause. This means Federal Law trumps State and Local law. Also you can file a complaint with US Dept. of Justice Civil rights division. They have a page thet deals with Addressing Police Misconduct.

The bottom line is that any cop who doesn't want to be recorded in any manner that doesn't directly interfere with his duties is up to no good and doesn't want there to be proof of it.
