It cost him about a month's unpaid leave, at the express order of the mayor and I believe he and the city are being sued for his false arrest of a woman who videotaped him arresting someone.

Some years ago, most automobile manufacturer's stopped equipping standard models with mudflaps.
Some may argue this was a 'cost-saving' move by the car makers.
I bet if we 'followed the money', we would discover that the Auto Glass Repair shops colluded with the Auto Makers.
Also, the windshield washer fluid folks are making off like bandits now that nobody has mudflaps!
