The police certainly aren't going to tell you!

Here's the deal for me.... I travel a back road every day to and from work. There is a spot where there is a lone grocery store where the speed limit changes from 50 to 40. About 80% of the time I remember to change my cruise control going through that spot. About 20% of the time, I forget and somewhere in there I will have the "Oh Crap" thought. The grocery store also happens to be a favorite place for Officer Friendly to run radar. It is a very easy place to get tagged. I appreciate it when a kind stranger reminds me to reset my cruise control for the speed change up ahead...funny, it's always been when Officer Friendly has been there.

Also, my wife's car is a lot quieter than mine is. It's very easy for me to find myself over the speed limit when driving her car, without any intention of doing so.

To not stand against injustice is to stand for it.
