Since you're out of logic and fact, you can get personal. I don't mind.

No logic or fact? Got proof that what I said is wrong? What LAW compels me to open my window or speak to someone?

WOW, You know I'm all for standing up for our rights as both firearms owners and people of the United States. But also as a father, I'm VERY for having safe streets free of drunken idiots out driving around. If DUI "check points" help take people that are too dumb not to drive drunk off the streets, then go for it. Just as if you drink and carry you should lose your permit.

Simply replying "No sir" would have moved him along just fine...I'm not against sticking it to the man, but wow pick your battles....That's just my opinion....

I wonder if this well spark drinking and carrying debate number 2.

I think anyone who wishes anyone else lose their permit over nothing illegal should lose their permit as well. *sarcasm*
God gets blamed for a lot of things now days, they ask “why would He let this happen?, Why doesn’t He stop it? I really don’t know, but I wonder if He wants to ask us the same questions. All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing

Actually, after reading this post from you, I can see that you definitely are NOT for standing up for our rights at all.....

I see that you are ONLY for those "rights" when they are exercised in the exact way you think they should be...

I'm curious... Have you ever heard of freedom? How is infringing on the 4th and 5th Amendment rights of someone who HAS NOT HAD A DRINK going to make the "streets safer"?

The courts of the United States tend to disagree:

"The right of a citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon, by horsedrawn
carriage, wagon, or automobile, is not a mere privilege which may be permitted or prohibited at
will, but a common right which he has under his right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Under
this constitutional guaranty one may, therefore, under normal conditions, travel at his inclination along the
public highways or in public places, and while conducting himself in an orderly and decent manner, neither
interfering with nor disturbing another's rights, he will be protected, not only in his person, but in his safe
conduct." Thompson v.Smith, 154 SE 579, 11 American Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, section 329, page 1135

These checkpoints put BG's in jail...those who wish to drink and drive. Subsequently, they save lives. Soooo, why play 5th Amendment games with the cops if you haven't broken the law and have nothing to hide unless you're doing it to prove some self righteous point and then to only turn around and put it on youtube?? Why completely demolish your credibility? As a father too, I want to know that my local LE is busting drunk drivers. There are too many out there and they cause too much pain and grief. Busting the cop's balls proves nothing. Nothing whatsoever.

I think I should have the freedom of driving down the road without getting creamed by a drunk driver. Thanks to laws and LEOs for enforcing them, many drunk drivers get to go to jail, particularly at these checkpoints. Your militia mentality suggests that we should just fend for ourselves and not have cops, since you have always discouraged talking/cooperating with them while you bastardize the use of the constitution to defend your reasons why.

    Default you are joking right?

How can one exercise their rights like this, yet break the law by not informing the LEO that they were being videotaped? Did the videographer get a signed release for the use of the LEO's images? If you are going to preach about rights, walk the walk and follow all the laws! ;)

The car driver. I try to pick my fights carefuly. The cop just said hello and asked if he had been drinking. All the cop wanted is to hear his voice and make sure he was sober. All he had to say was no. The officer would had smelled his breath, been satisfied, and the driver would have been on his way. In Texas was stoped twice, once by DPS and another by a Deputy. Both were with drug enforcement. One for speeding and the other because my temp plate was not in correct place. Deputy after checking my license and talking to me,knew I was not on drugs after a pleasant conversation, was on my way. DPS officer stopped me, asked me how I was doing, Told him fine so far, depends on why he stopped me. He laughed and told me about the plate. Explained that my old car with over 150,000 miles died on me and I bought this one. we talked, he wrote me a warning ticket, did not cost me anything, was on my way. Pick your fights
