Default Gun Owner Calls Help Hotline, Gets Raided by SWAT

This just pisses me off to no end. If this isn't police state gestapo BS I don't know what is. I guess you can't call help lines anymore w/o being considered a terrorist.

Anyone hear about the SWAT raid at a home where the person they were looking for was delinquent on educational loans and hadn't lived in the home for 2 years which was now owned by her ex who was man handled, threatened and detained in front of his young children. They did substantial damage to the entrance door and frame to boot and did not offer to repair it.

Did yall not read that he called the wrong hotline? He called the suicide hotline and answered that he had guns. Depressed people + guns = a "possible" bad situation (not every time). If he were actually suicidal and called the National Suicide Hotline like he did, said he had guns, then ended up hurting himself or others, everyone in the chain would get ass raped for not doing more.

    Angry Police State

Every police department needs a citizen review board. The review board will be made up of several citizens from that police jurisdiction. The citizen review board will review each allegation of police misconduct. The citizen review board will decide on the appropriate action. Until each police jurisdiction has a citizen review board these problems will contuinue.

I don't see the problem here. He stated he was depressed, they knew he had guns. He called the suicidal hotline on accident then shut off the phone. They called several times he said so they probably thought he killed himself or was hurting others. They didn't have to tear the place to pieces but I think they did the right thing by going there in case he was actually crazy.
