| Many have said that Instructors in HCP Classes in Tennessee tell them that they must inform a LEO they are armed and produce their permit if they are stopped or encounter an officer. This is not true, though it might be prudent. There is no mention of this supposition in the Tennessee Code Annotated. Just to clarify. |

| You are correct....thanks for pointing that out. Personally, I disclose.....not by any misunderstanding of the law, but as a courtesy FYI to the officer. I haven't been pulled over in a while, though....knock on wood
