OC or CCW not possible during archery season

Since OC and CCW are not possible during archery season, and it is not a great idea to leave a firearm in your tent when you are gone either, I leave my 44 and 45 at home then. Am getting ready to go hunting for buck deer now on the annual archery opener for the California coast.

My jack knife and my machete will have to do, from now on, while I am in the field.

Fortunately you don't usually see dirt bags while hunting in the field.

I am staying in a large group campground, so things should be tame and safe there also.

Normally I do not go anywhere without at least a 45 or the 44.

Archery season is the sole exception.

As long as there's not a sign on the door and you have a cwp then go for it . That's in Ohio anyway . There's no law against carry in a park for kids I bet the woods are the same . Carry to be able to protect yourself because u never know what might happen while your deep in the woods

How is that a dumb statement isaid in Ohio . Hey the woods we have don't have a font carry sign if the person has a permit and is hunting anyway . Why not bring a personal protection weapon ?

Same here in SC. I also believe it's legal in a bunch of other states.

(Everyday I see things that make me glad I don't live in Commiefornia.)

There shouldn't be a problem carrying a pistol while hunting in Washington, unless you're using the pistol to hunt big game... that might be a problem
