I'm switching from IMR4064 to Varget

It meters about the same, with better velocity and less impulse peak pressure.

180 gr bullet loaded with 43.0 Gr IMR 4064 in my .308=2555 FPS

180 gr bullet loaded with 43.0 Gr Varget in my .308=2565 FPS

perceived recoil is reduced!!!!!
Big bonus for me and my back!!!!!
Accuracy is largely unaffected (still shooting a less than .378 group)

Thanks for the feedback. I've been using Ramshot TAC for my .223 but had heard good things about varget. I'll have to get some and try it out.

Thanks for the info. I haven't tried Varget I guess need to pick up some and give it a try.

I'm using it for both .308 and .223. My reloads have been very accurate.
