    Default Special Cleaning Instructions

I just purchased my first firearm with night sites. It is a Glock 30SF, I am just courios if you have to take any special precautions with the cleaning so as not to damage the sites.
I clean with Hoppes #9 and then wipe down with a grease rag and Rem Oil

No special cleaning instructions. I'd stay away from a "grease rag" and "Rem Oil". For lubrication, I'd use some type of "CLP" product. My personal favorite is "Mil-tec".

The sights are sealed capsules. No need to worry about cleaning solvents damaging them. One thing you should be cautious about is "over lubricating". Check out the owner's manual to verify the lubrication points.
