I bought my first AK!

I ran into what I think was a pretty good deal today. A friend of mine had a brand new in the box I.O. Inc AK-47c that he needed to find a new home for. He offered to give it to me plus one extra mag and case for $500. I'm meeting up with him tomorrow to pick it up. Best part is it's a private to private deal.

That's true but that great Dad already has one of those. I'm sure he wouldn't want another boring AK for Christmas.

By the way this one does not have the milled receiver but I think it was a decent price anyways.

I bet my Dad would adopt you for xmas since he's a Dad that doesn't have one. :)

I saw quite a few at the gun show last weekend for a little more than that without a case or an extra mag. Definitely a decent price. Especially if it's helping out a friend as well.

Congrats on your new toy! They are a lot of fun!! By the way, the milled AK's are pretty hard to come by... Your I.O. AK-47c has the polymer furniture instead of the traditional wooden furniture does it not?

Congrats. I recently added an AK "pistol" to my collection. Cheaper than dirt here had them on sell here for 399 so I figured it was time to get one. I would like also to get a rifle to go along with it. If you decide you have to many guns you can always send me yours sense I am a "dad".

You are correct. It comes with the polymer furniture. I have not actually seen it yet so I'm not sure if it's the fixed RPK style or the side folder. But in 33mins I'll be heading out to meet up with my buddy and pick it up.
