plinking scope and bipod

I've been considering picking up a S&W M&P 15-22 for some plinking fun, as I don't currently own a 22. I was thinking I'd add a scope, and possibly a bipod. Does anyone have any recommendations on a decently priced scope that would be suitable for range use? Any bipods that I should be looking at?
