New VZ 58 yahoooooo! I recieved my CZ VZ58 last week. I had to mod the sporter stock to accomadate my left handedness LOL, and was amazed that ChechPoint tore up a perfectly good stock to give me info on 2 mod plans I had. I choose the least aggresive of the mods I was thinking about. I also added velcro straps to a UTG homeland security basic 38 inch case. Pics below.
I filed and polished a rib off the bottome of the stock on the left side to increase the comfort level for my left hand. In addition I added 1/2 inch of neoprene to increase padding.

Just a note: Scout scopes seems to be unwilling to return any emails so I opted to spend a few more bucks and purchased an NEA top handgaurd with rail for my optics. I have also fabricated a cheek weld from left over 1/2 inch neoprene and velcro so it is removable. I will post a pic when all done and ready to sight in at the range.
