    Default 3 Rd. Burst

An "Aquaintance" says he has an AR type in .223 that shoots a 3 round burst on one trigger pull. Not sure if I can believe this guy. Anyone know if this is a true statement, or even possible & still legal? We live in MI.

very possible all the current military issue M-4's are semi auto and 3 round burst capable. I will not speak to the legality of his possesing it as I do not know if he has the proper liscense

Certain states don't recognize a class III license.

The feds define a machine gun as firing more than one shot per trigger pull.

Excuse me. Legal if he has a valid class III license for the state he resides in.

Yes they do. Hence the need for a separate license.
