    Default Shooting Bag Rest

I like shooting my .22 Mossberg a lot, but now I need suggestions on bag rests. Never used them and don't know what to look for when purchasing. As I get older need to sit to shoot.

I have some bags made from upholstery material I bought from a curtain fabric store, filled with beans that I use for my cameras, guns and rifles. It is cheap but it keeps my machines clean. And portable.

Do you use black beans, red beans, lentils, kidney beans, or garbonzo beans? I am sure that NavyLCDR would use navy beans with such a setup.

Look for a beat up beanbag at a yard sale. The little plastic pellets inside make a very light bag and they will not get nasty of they get wet.
