trijicon rmr

I was wondering, does anyone have a Trijicon RMR red dot? If so, is it like an eotech sight where you look "past" the sight to see the picture? I had an eotech and didnt like that i had to look past it. When i looked at the sight it would be blurry. I hope this makes sense. If not, what is a good acog that wont break my wallet?

I run an RMR on my Glock19. If you focus on the RMR, the dot is clear. The idea is to stay target focused and the dot will appear to be on the target much like a laser would look.
