    Default mossberg 500

i have a 1977 mossberg 500 shotgun that is in great condition still still, works perfect and everything. i have the standard barrel and longer deer barrel for it. im trying to find out how much it would be worth if i were to sell it and what is the best way to sell it. is it best to sell at a local store or on a site like gunbroker. any advice on how to sell and an estimated value would be appreciated.

I bought a used 500AT in 12 gauge last year, with the 18.5" barrel, for about $150 including tax. I've seen them with 2 barrels on gunsamerica.com for around $200-$300.

Good shotguns...but LOTS of them out there.

Starting the first of February gander mtn is having a huge firearm sale and the m&p 15 22 is on sale for 450. There's two day where they will have people there to buy used guns and if you trade in towards another gun they will give an extra $20. I want the m&p but I've heard gander doesn't pay well at all for used guns. Any experience with selling to them?

A brand new Mossy 500 with the interchangeable barrels (and grip) was going for $359 at the last gun show I was at. I can't imagine anyone paying much more than $200-250 for yours in a person-to-person sale. Maybe $150 if you sell it to a dealer.

In NE Kansas it would run 300 or less. Great gun, I love mine.
