| I just traded a nice stainless S&W Mod 27, .357 magnum for a 80%, IMO Ithaca 4e 12 ga trap shotgun. I did it after I looked it up in the Bluebook and saw that 60% was valued at around $1600. Does anyone know if that is true at this time. I really did not want to part with my .357 but the fellow was emphatic about wanting that pistol, and he is a pretty good acquaintence.

| I think that's a great deal! Do a google search and you'll see new/like new going $3500 - $4000+. $1600 would be a good trade value. If you find the right person and depending on the condition I'd think you could get around $2000+ for it. You didn't get hurt!

| Sounds like a good deal to me.I see your from Ohio. You probally could sold it for a profit at the Ohio state shoot this week. Take a ride to Jaquas fine guns in Findlay Ohio, they will give a good trade if thats what your looking for. They sell or can get anything you need and have a great stock of high end guns. |
