Default winchester model 50 shotgun

I was at my local gun shop the other day and on his used gun rack I found a winchester model 50 semi auto shotgun. It was in fair condition with a good bit of surface rust but that can be taken care of real quick. I just did'nt know if this model was any good . I am also having trouble finding info on this gun, if anybody has had any experience with this gun I would greatly appreciate it .

Thumbs up

My brother likes model 50's and has owned several. They all worked fine. Well made guns. There are only two things I have against them. One is they are heavy and the other is I have never liked Winchester's placement of the safety ahead of the trigger. Otherwise they are a great gun.
