I don't mean to sound insensitive in this time of mourning, but hey Virginia Tech...how's that gun free zone working out for ya?

Wow - did anyone realize the first person shot here was a cop? you know, someone WHO CARRIES A GUN!?!
Hard to make any comment about gun-free zones with regard to this incident, unless it's to say that "See, even a highly trained police officer who carries a gun all the time couldn't get it out in time."
He probably wasn't expecting a gun in a gun free zone? Heck I dunno I don't have an excuse for him but going back to the previous shooting I'd rather be armed than hiding under a desk defenseless
