Two important pro-gun bills are awaiting consideration by the House Judiciary Committee.
House Bill 332 would ensure that a person is not held criminally liable for damages or death of an individual who illegally enters the persons home or business to commit a crime. HB 322 will be heard on Thursday, February 12 at 1:00 p.m.
Also, the Committee will consider House Bill 359 on Thursday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m. HB 359 would allow victims of spousal domestic abuse a temporary or final protective order to wear, carry or transport a concealed handgun and be issued a concealed carry permit by the Secretary of State Police.

I hope these 2 pass, we need all the help we can get here in MD.

"Common Sense" gun laws. Common sense tells me that the gun didn't carry itself to the crime scene and pull it's own trigger. Punish the criminals, not the guns!
Then i would just have to get my wife to slap me around a bit and then I could carry in md.
There is another bill in the House Judiciary Committee HB 52 that would grant reciprocity to Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania CCW licensees. About time!
I do a lot of business in Maryland and having to stop and lock up my weapons is a royal pain.
HB 52 seems to have just "disappeared"...![]()
