I did a search but everything was about carrying INTO a school or ONTO school grounds. Say I'm carrying and my friend picks me up. Say the street we are on has a school on it. Can we drive through the school zone or do we have to go around. Thanks

Interesting question, but I'd think it'd be one hell of a convoluted map if you had to make one for that situation. There are schools everywhere around here.

You can drive through a school zone because the street is public.

newbie here, but I'm screwed, the school is 50 feet from the house... (width of the street...) I figure the sidewalk on the school side is public right of way and is good, just don't go beyond that... you're good to go if in the car and on the street in my opinion...

| Do you have a state carry permit? If so, you're good. Quote:
