Going down for a living!
Grunt took a plunge over a cliff WA Mt Rainier, Huck-Creek training area. I had to go down and get him as no helo could get that close to a BF mountain. Someone snapped this off: 'On Rappel!".."On Belay!", "Coming down to get you buddy just put pressure on that bleeder!" Look close and see the trucks and field ambulances looking like tiny models about 1,200 ft below me, top right of this shot. I was thinking about doing an Aussie rappel but no time to show off a (faster) way I prefer going down, face first so I can see where I am heading without the need to keep looking over my shoulder.
