Biography:

Anything you do, you should do well, and specialization is for ants! Accordingly, over the course of my life, I have tried to never turn away from any learning or challenge. The exact timing of the things that make up ‘me’ is not as important as the selection of those items. So, here’s the list: I am an Open Water SCUBA Diver, Mathematician, Published Photographer, Programmer, Sailor, Martial Artist, Rifleman and Pistolero and I teach (or have taught) all of those as well. Things I do but don’t teach (mostly for lack of credential and time required to get them not knowledge) include working as a Certified Forensic Photographer, Cyber Security Expert (CISSP), Cave and Mixed Gas Diver, Entrepreneur, Private Pilot, Hunter, and Competition Shooter (3 gun, IPSC and IDPA). I have a personal belief that you haven’t really learned something until you’ve tried to teach it to someone else. Despite this list of fun stuff, my greatest joy comes from my relationship with God, and my wife and son. I would give it all up for them.
