Mackinac Island

Are there any rules I need to know before boarding a ferry to Mackinac Island? I have emailed a couple of the Ferry lines - no response yet. Their websites don't address this issue. The Coast Guard website has guidelines that are not binding to the Ferry.

Do they have metal detectors at the ferry terminals?

The search function didn't return a result for Mackinac.

It was just like getting in a taxi or riding a bus.

Pay for a ticket and stand in line.
