Hmmm... I thought I'd posted here long ago, but a review of the thread doesn't show it. Anyway...

US Army Security Agency, '65 to '69. Berlin, Germany from '66 to '69. SP4 on Separation. Joined a National Guard Mech. Inf. Bn. in '76 (couldn't stay away) where I reached E-6 as a Weapons Squad Squal Leader. Swung over to a Combat Engineer Bn. in '79 where I served as Platoon Sergeant. Got sick of that pretty quick so I transferred to the Reserves, became a Drill Sergeant, and made E-7 Senior Drill before getting out (far too soon but for valid reasons...at that time) in '86. Most gratifying job I ever did, being a Drill. Should'a stayed. Had a lot of fun, and made quite a few memories.

Thanks. Was actually born way up in north Georgia. Little place called Fort Oglethorpe in Catoosa County, just south of the state line.
