    I was mustered out of the Air Force in Feb '71 as an E-4 a Sgt. then, now the title is Senior Airman..

    Retired from the SC National Guard Active Guard & Reserve (AGR) program with 40 years, 10 months and 7 seven days including a year in Iraq with the 3d Armored Cavalry Regimnent. I was a Command Sergeant Major/E9. I now ride with the Patriot Guard Riders in SC and Georgia showing honor and respect to our fallen heros from Iraq and Afgahnistan.

    SFC 19 years Army SOF, 1 year 1st sgt in Korea. An old team seargent once told me, "Everyday past 20, you're working for half price" 20 years 30 days, I was done. A good memory all the way around. Oak out

    I made it to SSgt in the USMC before being sent back from Viet Nam to go to OCS. From there I continued to my 20 and retired as a Captain. It is true that you really can't live off what you get as retirement. So, after one retires it is necessary to go to work for a change. I was flying C-130s and helicopters when I retired, and more recently have retired from flying EMS helicopters.

    Default Got out as a Motor Sgt

    After getting wounded during TET 68 was medically restricted and sent to Korea..volunteered my draft and served only 2..After dropping OCS was informed "That's why everyone here went through Infantry AIT!"
    Served in Alpha 2/5 1Cav Div Airmobile 67-68
