FWIT: I spent 24 years on active duty. 14 enlisted and 10 years as a commissioned officer. We won't talk about how long ago that was. LOL. I retired as a Captain from the regular Air Force.

2nd post: 1st must've got lost in shuffle:
Went in 66 got out in 73,basic at Ft. Polk, La got out as E-5 , did tours in Vietnam, Panama, Germany. In Vietnam, was responsible for re-supply of firebases w/ammo (105's) food, water, and mail. Was with the Americal Division (23INF), 4/21 Inf (same brigade as Lt. Calley) Duc-Pho then to 1/14 Arty Chu-Lai Would not trade this experience for anything. just my 2 cents.
back in the states, stationed at Ft Carson, Co. remember, as unit armorer, we had this new shave-tail who wanted everyone to quailfy with the basooka's so he picked the day to qualify, everyone rode out to the range, but the ammo never did show up, wonder why?

Army E-5-- I was with the 82 ABN DIV --11B Infantry----I was at Ft Bragg ----6 months in Isreal ( MFO )---Operation Urgent Fury ( Invasion of Grenda )--- also Panama---I was in 1981 to 1985
