| I recently sent the forms in the VA for the continuation of benifits for my two oldest (college kids). I had asked the VA for the forms and had them filled out/signed and notarized by the school. I just received a request from the VA for more forms of a different nature and this will again slow down and or stop the process while they sort through their own paperwork empire...meanwhile I get shorted over $135.00 per month per student over 18. I am still waiting on the $667.00 they owe me from the last time they did this in Dec of 2006. I am in the process of getting Congressman Jeff Miller involved. Any other suggestions? I am tired of getting ripped off by some bureacrat that is all about more forms and less action.

| Contact the nearest VA to you and get hold of the patient advocate. There should also be a Veterans Benefits Officer in the facility. You might also contact your county Veterans Service Officer.
