    Default Extra Points For Social Security

    Many may already know this but, if you served in the military sometime before 2001, you have earned extra points and credit for Social Security benefits. You must apply for this when you apply for your benefits. More info at the following:

    WOW no CQ, No KP... you lucky and yup that is a good piece of info. I in 69-91 so expect I need do nothing as I read it.

    People in our military should be given the option to completely opt-out of the Social Security system, should they so desire.
