Hey guys, All of yalls shotguns look cool ! Maybe yall can help me out. I have an old 500 that I got as a kid.
It's stock with a 30" barrel. I would like to cut the barrel.
The "chopped off" look is not what I want. How do I get the new look to the end of the barrel ?

That sucker kicks like a mule. What do yall do to ease that ?
I'm sure the jump of a short barrel is hard to hold on to with just a pistol grip huh ?

Don't cut the barrel! You can get a new 20" barrel for $163, or an 18.5" for $82, and swap it out. I'd go with the 20" and lengthen the mag tube for more capacity.

Heck you can get the whole gun at a pawn shop for 100.00. I'll never use it for hunting again.


As you see it's got the long tube. 6 including one in the pipe.

I think I want to re stain the pump black and get a tac grip and stock, cut the barrel and have a great home protection shot gun

What do yall think ?

Mossberg 500A (Persuader) with Knoxx Specops Stock. I haven't shot it with the new stock. It's supposed to reduce recoil by 95%.
