Is that the Knox stock with the "shock absorber" in it? Let me know how you like it. I am thinking of getting one.

No its actually an Advanced Technology, INC buttstock. I'll be taking it to the range either tomorrow or monday and let you know how I like it.

I was over at buds and cant find any 500's or 590's. i type it in and the name does not even come up. know any sites that have them?

-What purpose does a heatshield serve on this, other than looking cool?

-Also, I was showing my moss 500 tactical to my buddy & he said his mossberg 500 ran into a problem w/ the ejector spring going bad after some rounds through it. He sold it, & the buyer replaced the spring & said it functioned fine after that. Anyone know if this is still an issue, or did they fix that? He purchased it only a few years ago.

-If I were to do anything, I was considering a pistol foregrip. But, do they really help w/ recoil? I can say firing some 3" 00 high brass through that sure let you feel it with that rear pistol grip. But, I don't really plan on having to fire it all day.

LOL, I was talking about S&W 500's and BFR's on Saturday, and read an article in American Rifleman about the 460XR today. Guess what I thought when I saw the title of this thread in the New Posts list?
