I too think the NV Supreme Court missed the boat on this one.
That said, we hope and plan to amend our law in 2011.

I recently spoke with an attorney about this situation and he suggested I contact the Sheriff's Office to inquire as to what names they are going to release and if I could request that my name be omitted from the list. That was not an option. The Washoe County DA offered a suggestion that I contact the RGJ newspaper and ask to have my name deleted from the list. I had thought about doing this, but figured that it was like throwing gasoline on a flame and would draw attention to myself.
The Sheriff's Dept. person encouraged me to contact my legislator to have that law changed.

I don't know. But I suspect he will take the same position as Washoe County (and other sheriffs).
Might be a good idea to call and inquire.
Meanwhile, we press forward with legislation in 2011.
