Default Vegas Questions

Hello, I will be in Las Vegas in august for my friends wedding and have a few questions.1) I was wondering how ccw friendly the area is(how many places are posted or have metal detectors, etc.) 2)What are the penalties if one were to find themself in a posted place?,I read the nevada info on handgunlaw.us but it seemed kinda vague on the rules and penalties. 3) Does Nevada have a book about the concealed carry law that I could get(The state police here in missouri have a pammphlet that explains the law and penalties for violation) 4) What are Nevada's knife laws? Any blade length limits? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Tom
