Obama Wins Nevada?

Guys, I can't believe that Obama was able to win Nevada. I never thought that this gun friendly state would support him. The people I know there did not vote that way.

Not just Nevada, but also Indiana, Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina. Indiana is particularly surprising, not having gone to a Democrat since 1964.

I don't know what happened to the rest of Florida, but my county posted 71.8% for McCain.

I knew that my state was going to go with Obama. The bad thing is the 55 electoral votes that went with it.

I was the metropolitan areas that lost it for McCain. Here in Kentucky it was Louisville and Lexington that went obama, the rest went to McCain.

It had to be Clark County in Nevada.

It was Clark, Carson City and Washoe Counties.

Nevada is a very fickle State. If the current party in office is dropping the ball, they will change. Nevada is hit very hard by the economy with the State over $1B in the red. It is only going to get worse next year. The state legislature also went more blue too.

The real problem with Nevada is that our 2 largest cities are right next to Kalifornia and we don't have any way of preventing the socialists from migrating. If you look at the election map, you'll see that the whole state is red with the exception of those 3 counties.

Unfortunately the larger a county's population is, the more liberalized they become and expect handouts from the government. This is the case for most States, the only exemption I noticed was OK which was red for all counties this last election.
