Firearms in Vehicles in Nevada

I found the statement below on another website. I've read through as many sections of the NRS that I can until my vision is too blurry to read anymore but I cannot find where this is addressed, only for school vehicles but not for private vehicles. Is this still the law - that anyone can carry in their vehicle as long as it's not concealed on their person? I have a friend asking me. I have a CCW so I never thought about it but I would like to point my friend in the right direction. Thanks.

Can I Conceal a Firearm Without a Permit?
Without a CCW permit, a firearm may be concealed in your home or vehicle as long as it is not on your person, concealed by your person, or in a personal item (such as a purse, backpack, briefcase) carried by you.
