Default club inside casino carry?

So, you can't carry in a bar but you can in a restaurant that serves. What about a club inside a casino? For example can you carry in the voodoo lounge in Vegas?

Did the law change in the last 2 days?

In Nevada you can carry in a bar and you can drink while carrying. BAC limit is .10

I carry in casinos, don't become inebriated, mind my own business and have never been told to leave.

When I was doing my CCW class at Frontsight one of the instructors I belive was retired Las Vegas PD and he gave this advice, if you go to a NV casino wearing a concealed firearm the security guys will eventually notice that you are armed (since most of them are retired LE). They will watch you for a while and if you are just playing slots and drinking coffee they will leave you alone, if you start drinking alot or draw attention to your self you will be asked politely to leave the property.

I haven't had an issue CCW'ing at any Vegas casino resort. There are some where you'd be foolish not to. I've carried inside of Harrah's Carnaval Court during their headliner weekend band (Mr. $ Mrs. Smith) without issue. I was never made by Harrah's security.

I also CCW'd in Lake Tahoe (Stateline NV) at the casinos along the CA/NV Stateline without issue. Never got made or asked to leave.

I typically carry at least two with a third locked in my room when I'm traveling.

Coast Casinos post as Glock Fan has noticed. I ignore casino postings. However if the casino has an on site child care facility you may be in violation of the law since the language or NRS 202.265 implies the entire parcel of land the child care facility, K-12 school, college or university is on.

Private property owners can pose whatever restrictions they wish, however they have to identify you are indeed packing.

Same here. Most of the time when I go to a club I carry in an ankle holster and as soon as I walk out I go to the restroom and put my gun back in my iwb holster. It just gives me a little more piece of mind because most of the clubs in Vegas get really crowded and you are always bumping into people. My Kahr MK40 conceals very well but there's no hiding it if someone bumps into it.

The ankle holster may give you piece of mind, but the time it takes to draw can cost you your life. I use it as a secondary weapon, not a primary.

Be safe!
