Hello I am Chad from christianburg VA. I am 24 and my wife and I recently signed up for a NRA pistol class, and have been thinking about getting our permits. I work as a diesel truck and equipment mechanic, I have always enjoyed hunting fishing and anything out doors. My most recent purchace was a Ruger P345 (45acp) (Technicaly my wife bought it for me). it may be a little on the large side for a carry pistol but nobody seems to agree on this anyway (comfortable or comforting). I also own a Tarus 66 357 a PA63 9x18 and a small colection of long guns. thanks to all who make this site possibol it has already been informative and helpfull. God bless all who carry, hope for the best prepare for the worst!

Hello and welcome to a great site! We are glad to have you. I carried a P345 for several months until I got my Sig P250. It is not that difficult to carry.

Cool Hello and welcome from a retired USAF MSgt

Good to see ya here. I was stationed at Langley AFB for 4 years and loved it. Good on you for using your rights. Remember...VA is also an open carry state if memory serves.:sly:
