| Newbie here, just saying hi from NYC also known as the The Bloomberg Republic. After 6+ months, interviews, gun inspection, and numerous forms, notarized letters and visits to Police headquaters they finally gave me a permit. p.s. They didn't seem to happy about it. p.s.s. I have a carry license in Florida, New Hampshire and Connecticut. Last edited by ricardo900; 06-24-2008 at 11:38 AM. |

| Welcome from Texas. I would like to visit NYC someday if the law is ever changed so that I can carry. There are a lot of things I would like to see.

I would like to add for informational purposes, that a carry permit only allows you to own 2 firearms, but the premise is unlimited but, you will need a purchase order to buy one firearm and you can only request it once every three months and after you request the purchase order you have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for the request to be approved and then you can buy your firearm, which then needs to be inspected by the NYPD. | Congratulations on your NYC carry permit and welcome to USA Carry. Just out of curiosity, are you filthy rich, politically connected, or related to some high ranking official within either the police department, the city council, or state legislature? |
