Depends on if you load it with taffy's or rolo's . . . it's a multi caliber cannon--You could actually load it with about anything that will fit down the barrel and adjust your powder load to push it out (I usually use 2-3 lbs candy), so I guess cost is dependent on what ammo you choose. Nothing better at birthday parties and social gatherings than candy falling from the sky--especially for the kids.

Yeah, no matter the age. I'm still one myself at times. :) Is yours something like a T-Shirt shooter? Those seem to be pretty dang expensive, something like $1,700.00 or so, running on nitrogen.

Yes, I'll bet you're welcome everywhere you go: Here comes the candy lady!! Hopefully none of us are too old to have fun. (Even if some of us are too old to get down on the ground and root around with the younger ones.

Thanks for the reply.

Ours runs on black powder--custom model made by my husband. About $40 or so in steel. I'm with you on having fun--should be no age limit.

Greetings from your neighbor to the north, Washington. I am writing from the wonderful city of Lacey, just outside the state capital. Born and raised in Indianapolis, hten spent a lot of years as a desert rat in Arizona, where I served the people of Pinal County as a deputy sheriff/EMT/FireFighter. I am married to a wonderful lady and we just celebrated 20 years. This is number five for both of us and is final. When people express shock or disapproval, we just shrug and say, "Sometimes you just gotta kiss a lot of frogs." We had a hot dog stand in Arizona, and a guy pulled in one day with Oregon plates and odered chow for his party. When I quoted the price, he informed me he was from Oregon and didn't pay sales tax. I told him that in Arizona, even the President would pay the tax. Oregon is a beautiful state, being just like Washington. Nice to see all that green that isn't paint. LOL
You guys are really growing it seems. Lacey being the second fastest growing city in all of Thurston County. Thurston County, which includes the cities of Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater, has a population of 207,355 as of the 2000 census vs Marion County, here where I live had about 75,000 more during the 2000 census.

I like Salem, just about the right size. I would suppose you and the boss like Lacey pretty well too, being not to terribly far from the big cities. Seems like Pinal County is pushing 300,000 now, passing us both up. Most be the snowbirds.

Kissing frogs, eh? None of my four were frogs, 1 is okay, 2 still comes and sees me, makes sure I am doing fine and gives me a few hugs before heading back up the road to get dinner ready for her SO, Burt. They have been together for about 9 years now and they are both just as happy as could be. I'm really happy for them, everyone should have someone to love and be loved by. I have some health issues that I am taking care of and then I will be back out there looking for my number 5. Number 3 for me was an education... first woman who, a large percentage of the time, like after talking to "her" friends, turned into a REAL C**T. Never been around one before. Quite an education that was for me! Number 4 is 28 years younger than me, and we were together for 6 years and she decided she wanted to live in a million plus $ house, so we ended up getting divorced and she became my daughter, as strange as that sounds. So now I have a 32 year old daughter. We got divorced in December 2005 (the paper work takes longer, but that is true for everyone I suppose) and she is always making sure I am doing okay, or buying me presents or going shopping for me. All four of them paid for the divorce, of course, and left me the house and everything except their clothes. Even Cairn (#2), and we were together for 22 years. Even #3 (the bad one) kept calling for years after we got divorced, telling me she loved me. After Ani and I got married, Sharie (#3) would call and her name would show on the CallerID and I would tell Ani, "It's Sharie" and Ani would say; "Be nice to her Ken, she can't help the way she is." After Ani and I had been married for about 3 years, Sharie finally quit calling.
So, I am looking for number 5... I want it to be the last time, like with you two.

Yes, Oregon and Washington (and Northern California) are beautiful green in the valley to the coast. I was born here and see no reason to go anywhere else. Why are you guys there in Lacey? Family of hers or yours nearby? That is usually the reason.

Yep, all these years and still no sales tax!

Thanks for the welcome and tell the Boss hi, it is a joy to hear of two people being together for over a half dozen years anymore it seems like. Happy late 20th!

Regards,
