Default NEW NM Bill for concealed carry in Restaurants that serve Alcohol

There is a new bill in the New Mexico State Legislature to allow concealed carry permit holders to carry in establishments that sell alcohol by the drink such as restaurants. It is HB 105: Allow Concealed Guns in Certain Businesses.

It will allow us to conceal carry in restaurants that have more than 60% of it sales from food. This will be almost all restaurants with a liquor license but not bars. Here is the link for the bill: House Bill text for HB0105

Please contact these legislatures on the committee and tell them you support this bill.

Thanks for the info. That was a silly loophole that could have been avoided the first time around.

And I just wrote to my Congressman for the very first time. Feelin' proud to be an American!
