But are they also states' rights advocates? If so, which side of the argument will they come down on?

Soto would have no problem joining the Scalito brothers in an opinion holding that the second amendment applies to the states, along with every other provision of the Constitution.

WBEN's Sandy Beach and Tom Baurle are pro-second amendment. Both talk about owning pistols. Sandy Beach speaks very highly of anti-gun County Clerk Kathy Hochul. I don't know if he is aware of the fact that pistol permit issue times have DOUBLED since she took office. Not sure if he is aware of her anti-gun past as legal councel for Senator Moynihan. To refresh your memory, Sen Moynihan wanted to tax ammunition at 1000% and firearms at 10,000%. Kathy Hochul was his legal councel and I assume she shares his views???

Are you certain permit application times have doubled? I am certain that applications and amendments have tripled. I also know for certain that the vast majority (3/4) of the time it takes for a permit application to be approved/denied the file is NOT in possession of the pistol permits office.

I know this much, last year it only took 2 weeks for an upgrade request to be either approved or denied now that time has more than tripled my good friend submitted his upgrade request in Dec2009 and, still has heard nothing. What is up with that??? 4 Months thats just wrong
