Default Need to Know, how long is the NRA Safety Course good for?

Took the NRA pistol course in April 2009, Never did file the rest of the paper work..... seems like I got so damn busy I forgot about it.
Put some money down on a Gluck 23 the other day and now I'm worried that the course is only valid for a year...
BTW I'm in Saratoga County, NY.
    Any help out there?
    Thanks,
    Rev

For what it's worth. If a client came back to me with that scenario, I'd most likely go over the test with them again and issue a new certificate for a small fee. But that's just me.

If they don't expire, then it's the pistol clerks/dept that want to see it done within a year.....I believe.

I don't know about Saratoga county, but in Oneida county it has to be within 3 years. NY is wierd in that every county has its own rules. Depends on the issuing agent (usually a judge)
